RETOOLING 

30 years ago God  blessed us with a wonderful building.  Many faithful and generous people built this building for the needs of the church at that time.  As technology and styles of ministry and service change it became apparent that our building needed some updating.  

The pictures below show what has been done so far.  There is still more to do.  A new sign will be installed outside, and new front doors and a permanent wheelchair ramp for the main floor as well as access to the basement are in the works.

This is a view of 3 temporary rooms in the basement that can be opened to expand the main hall.  New wiring, lighting, ceilings, insulation and drywall were added.  

This classroom has been finished.  The exterior walls were originally concrete, with no insulation and only 2 outlets in the entire room.  The walls were insulated, additional outlets and computer networking were installed and the room was carpeted.

In another room a computer lab has been added.  This will be used for teaching of basic internet and computer skills to folks looking to add to their knowledge or for families unable to afford a computer.

After being buried in various places in the church and generally neglected for years, our library has a new home.  New books and videos are regularly added and more folks are taking advantage of it.

Our Worship ministries are growing too.  A new technical booth and video projector have been added and upgrades to the sound system are underway.
